So last night I went to my first magazine party. It was a party hosted by Blacbook Magazine to celebrate the launch of a new magazine called SPREAD. I took Jordan with me (a friend here from the loft who interns at a photography agency) and as soon as we got out of the cab, we met up with the crew that I work with.
It was totally VIP the way we got in. As soon as Jordan and I got there, the people from work saw me and grabbed us and pulled us up in LONG line with them. Some girl was checking our names and the next thing I know we are being escorted to the front past everyone in line and the rope is being clipped open for us. We were some of the first people inside.
Once we were in, there was tons of free food and yes, even free drinks. Did I mention that it was at Lotus? From what I've heard, Lotus is a pretty hip place to be at in Manhattan.
Needless to say, I felt like a star all night... Pictures to come.
