New Beginnings...

So here it is, my very first blogspot posting. I have a livejournal that I have kept my more personal thoughts and observations in for the past few years. For those of you who know the link, I will still be adding posts in there as well... maybe even double posting. The main purpose of this blog, however, is to provide a story of my journey as a young woman fresh out of college... and to provide a link that I can share with family and friends who want to know how the city is going.

I am currently in New York City, that great big apple of over a million dreamers, pursuing my dream of becoming a fashion editor. As of right now, I have the position of lowly "intern" at a fashion directory. What may happen is anyone's guess. In a matter of months I could be moving back to North Carolina with a bag that weighs more than me, or I could be signing the lease if my very own Manhatten apartment.

Hopefully this blog will provide readers with some sort of entertainment too, although, due to the availabilty of this blog, I will try not to get too in depth with my postings...
